Today, Hermann is the Ski School Director and Founder of Ski School Bruneck. Together with his sons and two highly motivated ski instructors, he decided to start a new project with the goal of creating a modern ski school that combines the highest quality, personal attention and a genuine passion for winter sports.

Over 40 Years of Experience in the Mountains

Hermann Kronbichler has more than four decades of experience.

Throughout this time, he has witnessed the development of skiing, tourism and ski schools in South Tyrol firsthand. He understands the requirements of high-quality ski instruction as well as the needs of guests, families and ambitious skiers.

His experience goes far beyond traditional ski instruction.

As a certified ski instructor and coach, as well as a hiking guide and mountain bike guide, Hermann knows the mountains not only in winter. He is also regularly out in the Dolomites during the summer months.

This year-round connection to the region has shaped his understanding of the mountains and makes him a particularly versatile expert in mountain sports.

A Ski School Director with a Passion for His Profession

Before founding Ski School Bruneck, Hermann worked for many years as the director of another large ski school.

In this position, he gained extensive experience in managing and organizing a ski school and learned what is truly required to provide professional ski instruction and build a strong team.

At some point, however, he felt the desire to create something new.

Together with his sons and two highly motivated ski instructors, Hermann therefore founded Ski School Bruneck.

The idea was clear: to create a modern ski school that combines experience and tradition with new ideas, personal attention and a motivated team.

Hermann wanted to bring together people with the qualities needed for a modern, high-quality ski school: expertise, motivation, passion, responsibility and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.

Commitment to Tourism and Ski Schools in South Tyrol

For many years, Hermann has been involved not only within his own ski schools.

He has also been active in various tourism association committees and boards and has worked to represent the interests of ski schools in South Tyrol.

As a representative of the South Tyrolean ski schools for the Puster Valley district, he also knows the industry from a broader perspective.

This commitment shows that Hermann sees skiing as more than just a profession. He also wants to actively contribute to the development of tourism and ski schools in his home region.
